Raymond W. Buehler, Sr,

After returning home to Marian Manor, Ray passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015, to be with the love of his life, the late Mary Patricia Buehler, to whom he was married to for 64 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerard and Josephine Buehler; and his brother, Jerry (late Peggy) Buehler; loving father of Chris and Jim Hartbauer, Ray and Kathy Buehler, Diane and Paul Eberlein and Jim and Heather Buehler; proud grandfather to Kristy (Nick) Nehrbauer, Kevin and Colleen Hartbauer, Lindsay (Brian) Tyson, Kathleen Buehler, Kirsten (fiance Chuck Kelley), Richard (Jessica) and Robert (Kristen) Eberlein, Mark, Patrick and Alexis (fiance Lucas Simpson) Buehler; brother of Donald (Carol) Buehler, also a resident of Marian Manor; brother-in-law of Genie Graser and Charles Graser; Dad is also survived by five nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews and many cousins.

Dad was deep into his Catholic faith and a longtime member of both Ss. Simon and Jude and St. John Capistran Parishes. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering. Dad started his career at Peth & Reid followed by Michael Baker Corporation before joining Galletta Engineering Corporation in 1963 eventually becoming owner and vice president of engineering. He was also president of the sister company Coal Technology Inc.

Friends received Friday from 1-5 p.m. in the Parlor of Building A at Marian Manor, 2695 Winchester Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Mass of Christian Burial in the Chapel of Marian Manor on Friday evening at 5 p.m. Private family burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
