Age 96, of Bridgeville, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, at Broadmore Senior Living. Loving husband of 39 years of the late Dominica (Karpyniak) Coleman. Proud WWII veteran enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served as Signalman Second Class on the USS O'Toole. Received various medals and was discharged in 1948. Avid sports fan and loved his Penguins. He would tell the doctors that he contributed his longevity to a daily shot of whiskey and an Iron City beer. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Barbara Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in Chartiers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bridgeville American Legion, 325 Station St., Bridgeville, PA 15017.
