Age 92, of Bridgeville, on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Husband of the late Helen (Lewis) Czarnecki of 66 years; loving father of Len (Toni), Bernie (Sandy), Suzi (Frank) Scheboth and the late Rick Czarnecki; brother of Marjorie McHugh; preceded in death by four brothers; and three sisters; cherished grandfather of eight; great-grandfather of 12.

Leonard was the owner of Rome Hardware in Carnegie for over 30 years. A WWII Army veteran, serving in the European Theatre, a recipient of five Bronze Stars.

Friends received Saturday 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m at the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Child Parish on Monday at 1 p.m. Burial with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
