Albert Kaupinis

August 15, 2015

Age 90, of Scott Twp., died peacefully at Marian Manor with his family by his side on Saturday, August 15, 2015. He was the loving and devoted husband of 64 years to the late Mary Kaupinis who passed away January 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nellie Kaupinis; a sister, Tillie Kaupinis and a brother, Frank Kaupinis; cherished father of Phyllis and George O'Malley, Carol and Chris Fischbach, Dan and Joan Kaupinis, Kip and Patty Kaupinis, Rob and Karole Kaupinis, Laurie and Dan Carnahan, Kim and Leroy Rekula, Joan and Dan Mulvihill, and Amy and Mark Hellmann; dearest grandfather of 29; great- grandfather of 17; and predeceased by one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren; also survived by brothers-in-law, Harry Briggs, George (Marge) Briggs; a sister-in-law, Betty (Chuck) Mullen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert was a WWII veteran and a retired Scott Twp. Police Officer. Our dad was a storyteller extraordinaire. A jokester with an infectious grin and was a most gentle-man. He has earned his wings and has met his sweetheart in heaven. He will be forever loved and missed.

Our family would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Clair Hospital and Marian Manor for their compassionate care of our father.

Friends received Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie, PA. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
