Age 85, of Scott Twp., passed away Friday, January 2, 2015, with her entire family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Grosz and Julia (George) Briggs. She was the loving and devoted wife of 64 years to Albert Kaupinis; cherished mother of Phyllis and George O'Malley, Carol and Chris Fischbach, Dan and Joan Kaupinis, John and Patty Kaupinis, Rob and Karole Kaupinis, Laurie and Dan Carnahan, Kim and Leroy Rekula, Joan and Dan Mulvihill, and Amy and Mark Hellmann; dearest grandmother of 29; great-grandmother of 15 and one on the way. She was predeceased by one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren; sister of Harry Briggs, Betty "her best friend" (Chuck) Mullen, George (Marge) Briggs, and the late Jim and Emil Grosz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Our mother was a devout Catholic and heart and soul of our family. She will be forever missed and loved.

Friends received Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
