Of Loudon, TN, passed away from pancreatic cancer, on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. He was born July 19, 1945, in Coraopolis, PA, living the greater part of his life in Sewickley, PA. He was a technical engineer at Pullman Standard and ESCO Corporation before running his own private technical consulting firm until his retirement. He was a member of St. James Parish in Sewickley, PA, was a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Quaker Valley and the Knights of Columbus, achieving Grand Knight status in the latter. He was a hardworking, supportive and proud husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his second wife, Josephine Ward; daughter, Tracy Halmi with husband, Steven and grandchildren, Nicholas and Elena, of Edinboro, PA; son, Daniel with wife, Katie and grandchildren, James and Madison of Santa Barbara, CA; brother, Michael; and sisters, Toni Jean Warneld and Kathleen Fleet with husband, Roy; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 2012 by wife, Diane Melle of Sewickley, PA. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, Sewickley, PA on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Burial in St. James Cemetery.
