On Saturday, June 24, 2017, age 88, peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Patricia Balestra; loving father of Shari (Michael) Dissen and Anthony (Patti) Balestra; brother of Julie (late John) Paci, Adeline (late Mike) Makar, Wayne (Theresa) Balestra, Raymond (Sharon) Balestra, and the late Fred Balestra; brother-in-law of Rose Balestra; proud grandfather of Michael, Sean (Stephanie), Maria and Nicole; great-grandfather of Jordan and Eli; also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his late niece, Kara Balestra. Friends received Thursday 3-7 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI- EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie, PA. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Friday at 1 p.m. Lee along with his brother, Fred were the former proprietors of Mama Lena's Restaurant. Lee was also the personal chef at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church for many years.
