Age 90, on Friday, April 21, 2017, son of the late William and Mary Margaret Cannon. Brother of Mary (Lou) Viglione and the late Margaret "Sis" Cannon; uncle of Donna (Norman) Slazinski and Karen Windisch (Paul Taylor); stepfather of Gary, Albert, and Richard Geiger and Carolann Farley and the late Ronald Geiger; great-uncle of Michael (Jessica), A.J. (Kristan) Slazinski, Sean (Lizzy), Elizabeth and Anthony Windisch and Shannon (Dan) Muto; great-great-uncle of Jeremy, Jacob, Logan, Luke and Elliana. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third Street, Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in SS. Simon and Jude Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Uncle Bill was a long-time member of the SS. Simon and Jude Parish and you could always find him at the sink during the festival scrubbing those pots and pans. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to one's favorite charity.
