On Monday, September 11, 2017, husband of the late Mary Demain; father of John (Joyce) Demain and the late Robert Demain; grandfather of Jeffrey, Justin and Jason Demain; companion of the late Mary Steele; dear friend of Charlene Kaminski and her children, Dan and Greg Kaminski, Dawn Bopp; and Dawn's daughters, Sydney and Taylor. Friends received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI- EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Walter will be laid to rest with full military honors next to his wife, Mary and son, Robert in Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Cemetery.
