On Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Husband of the late Gertrude E. Duda; father of George T. (Sue) Duda, Jr. of Georgetown, TX; brother of the late Nellie Mizia, Helen McNavish, John Lotecki, Thomas, Joseph, Frank, Stanley and Michael Duda; grandfather of Lisha (Dan) Piszczatoski of Wayne, NJ, Gary (Shannon) Duda of Glen Allen, VA, Andria Falcon of Sonoma, CA and Kerry (Travis) Redding of Leander, TX. Also survived by ten great- grandchildren. Friends received Sunday, 2-5 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in All Saints P.N.C. Church on Monday at 10 a.m. George graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 1946 and worked until he retired from Bell's Drugstore in Carnegie at the age of 75. George served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged earning a Purple Heart, Silver Star and a Bronze Star. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Broadmore Senior Living in Bridgeville and Family Hospice and Palliative Care in Mt. Lebanon for the care and compassion given to dad.
