On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, son of the late Dorothy and Lawrence Thomas, founder of L. Thomas Body Shop & Towing; beloved husband 57 years to Joyce Thomas; loving father of Richard N. (Jenniffer) Thomas, Jr.; brother of Lawrence (Carole) Thomas and Marilyn (Alex) Makar; proud grandpap of Richard N. Thomas, III; nephew of Rita Kizik; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family visitations were held and burial took place with full military honors in Holy Souls Cemetery.

Dickie spent his entire working career with L. Thomas Body Shop & Towing other than a short time when he served his country with the United States Marines from 1956-1958. He enjoyed stock car racing, custom cars and was super proud of his grandson.
