July 25, 2020

.

Dennis Berbach passed peacefully at home on Saturday, July 25,2020. His last days were spent surrounded by his children and partner in love of 25 years, Claralinda Voshall. Denny is now with his parents, Clarence and Margaret and his sister Janet. He is missed by his children Mark (Leigh) Berbach, Denise Berbach, Karie (Michael) Heinecke and Vince (Linda) Berbach and grandchildren Lynn, Marianna, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Evelyn, Olivia and Otto. Also by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many good friends.

Denny’s life is an example of living one’s beliefs, never taking oneself too seriously, being enthusiastically curious and embracing being perfectly imperfect. He believed that “every problem carries the seed of opportunity to LEARN, to LOVE to GROW in awareness and simply to be HAPPY to be alive”. Life gave him many opportunities to practice his beliefs and he never stopped trying. As his end neared he did not fight it, but spoke of how grateful he for was for all that had been. He showed no fear, just love. He was a blessing to us all.

Denny was a carpenter Airman in the United States Air Force from 1957-1960 followed by a long career as a machinist at McGraw-Edison in Canonsburg, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 6p.m. at 101 Third Street, Carnegie.
