Beloved husband of Eileen Kane; loving father of Cheryl (Richard) Lutz, Debbie (Raymond) Carter, John (Rosa) Fleeher and the late Fred Kane; father-in-law of Natalie Kane; brother of the late Dorothy Flanders and William Kane; brother-in-law of Beverly Haberstroh and Carmela Ainscough; grandfather of Jason (Linda) Lutz, Angie (Brian) Pici, Michael (Deanna) Lutz, Rachael (Chris) Schiavon, Brittany Kane, Allison (Kevin) McGowan, Damian (Lindsey) Carter, William and Catherine Fleeher; great grandfather to Carter, Danielle, Dylan, Trey, Ethan, Sydney, Luke, Eloquence, Gavin, Lily, Jaxon, and Holly.
John was a Veteran serving in both World War II and the Korean War and retired from the United States Postal Service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow with Full Military Honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
