Passed away peacefully at Tapestry Senior Living on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the age of 92. Son of the late Frank and Josephine Kolanko. Eddie is survived by his niece, Debra (George) Hlavay; nephews, Steven (Lori) and Wayne (Michelle) Nowakowski; also survived by five great-nieces, four great-nephews and six great-great-nieces and nephews (with the recent announcement with one more to come).

Eddie was born in Carnegie, PA in 1927. He joined the US Navy in 1945 and served for two years before being discharged in 1947. After serving as a Radio Technician in the Navy, Eddie would continue to work with electronics. He was employed at Zenith until he retired.

He enjoyed nature. He took pleasure in his photography hobby and he enjoyed showing his photos to his family. He will be missed but never forgotten. Private family visitations.

Eddie will be laid to rest with full Military Honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
