Peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Friday, June 12, 2020. Wife of the late William J. "Droopy Drawers" Smith; loving mother of Paul "Smitty" (Carolyn), Robert "Critter" Smith, Karen (David) Rubolino and Sharon (Daniel) DelBianco; sister of the late Bernard Tarnek and Jacqueline "Jeanne" Shavensky; grandmother of Amiee (Tim) Lesko, Scott Smith, Isabella Rubolino and Joseph DelBianco; great-grandmother of Irelyn Lesko.

Paulette was a graduate of the Mercy School of Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years at Mayview State Hospital. Friends would know her as the neighborhood mom, where all the kids would know they would be well fed and kept safe.

There will be no public visitations. Friends and family are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Friday at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place on Saturday, September, 12, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Park where Paulette will be laid to rest with her husband William. William will receive full military honors.

Masks are required for visitations, Funeral Mass and burial.
