Phuoc Thanh Truong, aged 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 in Carnegie, Pa. He was born on July 7, 1933 in Vietnam. He was the father of a first generation family of immigrants from Vietnam. Not being able to speak a word of English upon arrival in the United States in 1980, his courage, hard work, and sacrifices helped to build the foundation for his family in their new land. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nga; four sons, Minh (Kurt) Hai (Eric), Binh, and Cuong (Michael); daughter-in-laws: Susan, Lisa, Michelle, and Wee Wee; 14 grandchildren: Hannah, Nigel, Rachel, Tyler, Kira, Nathan, Ciara, Emily, Kaitlyn, Natalie, Jason, Allaira, Leaira, Zoe, and 2 great grandchildren; Riley and Carson; Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Phuoc will be laid to rest in a private family burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Masks are required for visitations and burial.
