On Sunday, February 21, 2021. Beloved husband of Sandra Alfred; loving father of Darrin and Brian (Yoshika) Alfred; brother of David (Debbie), Floyd (Dorothy), and Daniel Alfred, and the late Donald Nice and Lloyd; grandfather of Naoki Alfred.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 Third St., Carnegie, where a private family visitation was held. Darrell was to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

A military service will take place on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where Darrell will receive full military honors.

In order to be compliant with state guidelines, masks must be worn and social distancing maintained for visitation and burial.
