Suddenly, on Monday, February 8, 2021. Beloved husband of Elaine Shriver Amoroso; loving father of Teresa (Dino) Aracri and Anthony (Dana Regec) Amoroso; proud Pappy of Rocco, Mia, Luca, Gianna, and Marina; father-in-law of Nicole Amoroso; brother of Harvey (Dolly Anderson) Amoroso, and Marie (Paul) Kozlow; also survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws including Steve Shriver, Diane (Tom) White, Laura (Eugene) Williams, Amy (Late Darryl) Bednarski, Teresa (Bo) Malacki, Sally (John) Costantino, and Paula (Matt Schlee) Shriver along with beautiful nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear, life long friends.

After retiring from a 40-year career as Purchasing Manager for millwork products and later concrete materials Chris was enjoying his retirement with his loving wife Elaine of 45 years and their grandkids. Together they enjoyed spending their time canoeing, walking, and fishing in the picturesque Ohiopyle area. They loved to take day trips and enjoy nearby local attractions together.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Sara Irwin will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. Chris will be laid to rest in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
