On Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Son of the late Thomas and Georgetta Salerno; husband of Laureen Salerno; father of Gina, Allison, Haley, and Morgan; brother of Frank (Kathy) and Tom (Adrienne) Salerno; brother-in-law of Denise (Dave) Schweitzer.

Joey was a lifetime member of the Glendale Fire Department.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
