David S. "Dave" Tokarczyk

November 2, 1955

November 15, 2021

Age 66, on Monday, November 15, 2021 unexpectedly after a brief illness. Dave was born on November 2, 1955 to the late Zygmunt and Thelma Tokarczyk. After graduating from Carlynton High School, Dave studied to become a professional driver. He was a loving provider for his family, working as a tractor trailer driver and Port Authority bus driver. Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Jane (Grimes) Tokarczyk and four children, Kathy (James) Simmons, Amy (Kelvin) Armstrong, Lynn Cleavenger, and David J. Tokarczyk. Also survived by six grandchildren, Selena, Mackenzie, Alexis, Jordan, Kyleigh, and Juliana. Dave is also survived by his three brothers, Tom (Maria), Bob (late Patricia) and John (Renee) Tokarczyk. He was the nephew of Helen Sulick and Nora Tokarczyk. Dave will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dave would want everyone to know that he is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He enjoyed working on cars, traveling with family, fishing, being involved in church, spending time with friends, and sharing God’s word with everyone he met. He will always be remembered as the best husband and father anyone could ask for. His smile, laughter, and story telling will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, November 19, 2021from 3-8 p.m. at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A funeral service will be held in the New Life Fellowship Church, 56 Prestley Rd., Bridgeville, PA on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints P.N.C. Cemetery.
