After a 3-year battle with Liver & Colon Cancer, and the last few months having been extremely rough, Fran passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, October 5th, 2021. Beautiful wife of Michael Viglione, after 40 years of marriage; loving mother of Michele, Anthony, and (Jay Viglione, deceased March 16, 2021); sister of Gloria Busa and Phyllis Roessler; Grandmother to (6) Grandchildren Alex, Nick, Joshua, Alayna, Bella, and Hunter; Continental/United Airlines employee for 18 years; known and loved by many dear friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at 101 Third St., Carnegie, PA 15106. A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 330 Third Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106 on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the Funeral Mass to Calvary Cemetery, in Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh.
