David W. Wayne of Scott Township ended his seven-year battle with prostate cancer on May 7, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Edward (Sally) and Ruth Wayne of Scott Township. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Patty and John Shearer and niece Allison Shearer of New Castle, PA, his cousin Bobby Lee (David) Rahner of South Fayette, PA, his step-daughter Carey (Dale) Johnson of Midway, PA, and his son Justin Wayne and granddoggie Hyland of Lancaster, PA.

David was an avid outdoorsman and parrothead.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC.,
101 Third St., Carnegie, PA 15106.

Per David’s wishes there are no public visitations.

In lieu of a formal funeral service, the family will be planning a Celebration of Life over the summer.
