On Sunday, November 27, 2022. Beloved wife of John Dornetto; loving mother of Velvet Czarnecki, John, Jason (Elizabeth) Dornetto; sister of Sue (late John) Lewis, Daniel (Pam) Kalish, and Dennis (Adrian) Kalish; grandmother of Daniel, Brooke, C.J., Amara, and Serenity.

Darlene was an avid baker and was sought out by friends and neighbors for cookies and pastries for holidays, weddings and the like. Her Lady Locks were a favorite of her children and grandkids. She loved to spend time with friends at the Polish Falcons and Polish Citizens clubs in her neighborhood, and never turned down an opportunity for bingo. More than anything, she loved her family, and most especially her grandchildren. Despite her health and how she may be feeling, she always found a way to show she cared. Whether a meal, a favor, a heartfelt greeting card or gift, you never had to doubt that she was there for you. For these and so many other reasons, she will be deeply missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. Family and friends will be received Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
