We're saddened to share the news that long time Bishop Canevin Spanish teacher, Mary Agnes (Koebert) Leschak, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday night. During her time here at Canevin she moderated the Cavettes flag team, National Honor Society, and helped with props for the spring musical, among other things. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael, former religion teacher at Bishop Canevin. Both Mary Agnes and Mike were recognized by Bishop Canevin with the Ring of Honor as distinguished educators. She will be missed. Please keep the family of Mary Agnes and the good and peaceful soul in your thoughts and prayers. Eternal rest grant unto Mary Agnes, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
