On Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Beloved husband of Irene (Kaminski) Augustine; Loving father of Angela (Curt) Reiner; Grandfather of Emily Reiner; brother of the late Dolores Smay; brother-in-law of Dorothy (Late Chet) Smith, Mary Jane (Terry) Shipley, John (Sheila) Kaminski, Ray (Cindy) Kaminski, Frank (Cheryl) Kaminski, and Antonette (Frank) Antonelli; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Bill loved his family dearly. In his leisure time he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting in the waters and woods in western Pennsylvania. Every once in a while Bill would get into the kitchen to make some of his famous chili that was enjoyed by family and friends. Bill was also a loyal black and gold fan who loved to watch the Pirates, Penguins and the Steelers. He also always eagerly awaited the reports from his granddaughter Emily’s ice hockey games and always asked her to score a goal for Pap. Through the years, Bill had a healthy sweet tooth as he enjoyed Butterfingers, cinnamon rolls and always looked forward to his deserts. All through his life he loved his country. Bill also was a big Trump supporter as he was looking forward to voting in the upcoming elections.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 3-7PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. Parting prayers will be said at 7PM. Burial will take place with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
