On Thursday, September 14, 2023. Husband of the late June Barrett; loving father of Patty (Frank) Cimino and Kathy (Sam) Reid; proud grandfather of Jennifer (Mirsad) Asllani, Frank (Rachel) Cimino, Josh (Rebecca) Reid, and Alie (Dylan) Witt; great-grandfather of Barrett Cimino and Connor Reid; brother of the late Joseph and Jack Barrett.

Bill was a retired City of Pittsburgh Police Officer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where private family visitations will be held at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Margaret of Scotland Church, on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 12:30PM. Following Mass, Bill will be laid to rest with his wife of 60 years, June, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.

Bill's family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Marian Manor for their care and compassion given to their dad throughout his residence there. The family would also like to thank Bridges Hospice for their compassionate care.
