Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 9, 2023, of Scott Twp. Beloved wife of James A. Blunkosky. Loving mother of Derek Blunkosky, Bob (Sarah) Blunkosky, and Leigh (Kevin) Barker. Grandmother of Haleigh, Eddie, Josie, Zivia, Tiernan, Deanna (Marcellus) Alexander, and Payton. Great-grandmother of Dax and Raina.

After graduating from Clarion University, Sally received her Master’s degree in teaching from West Virginia University. She taught for five years at South Fayette high school where she met James, then staying at home to raise her children. Sally had a love for traveling with her husband, sewing, cake decorating, photography, reading, bowling, and all of Pittsburgh sports. She served as a Worthy Matron for Eastern Star. She was a member of St. John Lutheran church and was a site manager for Carnegie Meals on Wheels.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Funeral Service will be held in St. John Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
