On Saturday, July 1, 2023. Beloved husband of 56 years to Joyce (Mittermeier) Mostowy; Father of Michael Mostowy and the late Richard Mostowy; brother of Theresa and Paul Mostowy; also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank the hospice nurses at St. Clair Hospital for their care and compassion given to John during his stay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8PM, at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, Ss. Simon and Jude Church, on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
