On Thursday, March 30, 2023. Beloved husband of Ann Kubacki Pieprzny, married for 63 years, born in Dormont, PA on February 16, 1932, father of Sharon (Gregory) Harkins, David Pieprzny, and the late Wayne Pieprzny; brother of the late Eleanor Drobycki and Helen Dolata; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Dormont High School in 1950, then graduated from Alliance College, and The University of Pittsburgh Dental School.

Gus was a Captain in the Army, stationed in Korea, where he practiced Dentistry.

“Doc” as his patients from his Crafton dental office would call him, enjoyed boating and fishing at Pymatuning Lake. Gus and Anne traveled across the country and around the world. He enjoyed creating stained glass lamps and was an enthusiastic gardener.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME INC., where family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 2, 2022 from 2- 6 pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
