On Sunday, January 21, 2024. Daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine (Derflinger) Sarsfield; Beloved wife of Frederick "Fred" Dengler, Sr.; loving mother of Edward (Jackie) Jordan, Colleen Jordan Gilbert, Steven (Deborah) Jordan; step-mother of Dawn Lynne Dengler, Sean Dengler, Sr. (Tammy Aymar), and the late Fred Dengler, Jr.; Oma of Marie Lena (Stefan) Jordan, Kaleb (Amanda) Gilbert, Chloe (Ely) Luciano, Hunter Jordan, Dylan Jordan, Sean Dengler, Jr. and Taylor Blanchard, and the late Sedona Jordan; great-grandmother of Mattis and Lotta Jordan; sister of Walter (Peggy) Sarsfield; aunt of Thomas Sarsfield and the late Michelle Sarsfield; sister in law of Kathy (Dick) Patrick and the late Carol (Art) Massey.

Marguerite spent 40 years as a hairdresser and a home health aide. She loved her grandchildren, traveling, reading, gardening, genealogy, playing cards and casino trips.

Loving Marguerite was easy but being loved back by her was an honor. She made sure to lead by example by getting the job done but never forgetting to reward herself and others. Not only was she a hard worker but she played hard too. From pranking others to telling silly stories to make everyone, including herself, laugh. She was truly the best. We are blessed to have gotten so much time with such an amazing person.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 3-7PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, Ss. Simon and Jude Church, on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 11:00AM. Entombment will take place in Holy Souls Cemetery.
