Abuelita, Forever in our hearts
Abuelita, Abuelita. You came from Mexico to the States, leaving behind your family to support my mom in raising her three children. Now, you are leaving behind a heartbreak in our lives that can never be filled.
You have introduced us to the beauty of Mexican culture and traditions and taught us a new language and essential moral values.
Your insights and teaching have profoundly influenced our lives, encouraging us to embrace diversity and enrich our understanding of the world.
I hold onto the memories of coming home to homemade Mexican dishes and freshly folded laundry, and you were waiting to hear all about our days.
The house always felt lively and full, knowing you were there holding down the fort.
Now, it will never feel the same without you.
You were always there for us no matter what the circumstances. We will never forget your love and kindness.
You were our support, our strength, and our comfort during the toughest times.
Your legacy will always remain in our hearts.
You will forever be a part of us. Your absence leaves an emptiness that we will always feel, a pain that will never fade.
We miss you more than words can say
We think of you every single day
But I know you will be watching us from above
And sending us all your eternal love
Abue, we will meet again in a place where there is no pain and no end. Our love will forever continue to grow.
Por Siempre te querremos Abuelita.
Thank you all for being here today during this difficult time. Your presence reflects the significant role you played in Abuelita’s life here in the States. Despite the language barrier, she deeply appreciated the warm welcome she received from each of you.
Thank you
