Betty Jane Heinemann

January 19, 1931

June 23, 2024

On Sunday, June 23, 2024. Daughter of the late James and Nellie McFadden; wife of the late Clayton W. Heinemann; beloved mother of Margie (Michael) Sikorski, Brian Heinemann, proud grandmother of Maiya Heinemann; sister of the late Martha Wolverton, Helen Coulter, Dorothy McFadden, Bessie Holmes, and Mary Lou O'Donnell; foster sister of Arnette Augustine; also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Betty was a true beacon of kindness and compassion. As a devoted caretaker, she tirelessly tended to the needs of others, often putting their well-being above her own. Her friendly demeanor and open-hearted nature made her a magnet for anyone seeking solace or a listening ear. Her door was perpetually open, welcoming friends, strangers, and even those in need. But what truly set Betty apart was her unwavering belief in the goodness of humanity. She saw the potential for kindness in everyone, and her optimism radiated like a warm sunbeam. In a world that sometimes feels cold and indifferent, Betty’s spirit shone brightly, reminding us all to be better, kinder versions of ourselves. We are heartbroken Betty is no longer here with us, but thankful she is finally at peace.

In the spirit of Betty’s love for animals in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your favorite animal charity in Betty’s name.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC.

Per Betty's wishes, services and interment were private.
