Donna M. Kusluch

December 7, 1939

December 29, 2024

Age 85, of Carnegie, formerly of Meadville and Mt. Lebanon, passed on Sunday, December 29, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Donna is survived by her husband, James Kusluch and their five children, Deborah Simonson, Kenneth Kusluch (Arlene), Michelle Lust (Jim), Robert Kusluch (Lauri), and Kimberly Kusluch (James Silver). Donna is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Born December 7, 1939, Donna had an amazing 85 years of life. Donna married James on December 30, 1957, at 18 years old. They started their family in their hometown of Pittsburgh a year after. Donna liked to joke that if James just looked at her, she would be pregnant.

She juggled more than most, raising her five kids and joining the workforce. She started her career at Howard Johnston, moved on as an Eat N’ Park Carhop then to Locanties and on to Red Wood. Donna then began working at St. Clair Country Club where she was promoted to Golf Shop Manager. After 11 years, she decided to transition to The Wig Co. for a steadier schedule. After 2 years in the role, she then moved on to Bridgestreet Accommodations, where she retired as a Guest Service Manager in 2002. Once James joined her in retirement, they loved to spend their time traveling to see friends and enjoying life to the fullest.

Donna was an incredibly selfless and kind woman. She was generous to a fault and never met a stranger. She lived life always being considerate and a source of charity for those in need. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with family and friends. She planned epic parties that brought everyone together. This was when she was in her element. Donna is beloved by many and will be missed dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:30am.
