Age 85, of Carnegie, PA formerly of Kennedy Township passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late Martin and Hilda Beck; wife of the late Francis "Frank" Nicholas; cherished mother of Frank J. (Michelle) Nicholas of Raleigh, NC; sister of Mary Louise (late Don) Gruda, and the late Dorothy (Donald survives) Campbell, late Martin (Rita survives) Beck, late Bernard (late Dorothy) Beck, and late Raymond (Jean survives) Beck; special sister in law of Joann and Robert "Bob" Seifried; also survived by generations of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ruth will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and generosity. She was known for her great pizzelles, her love of the casino, and in her younger years traveling to the Caribbean Islands.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00am. Following Mass, Ruthie will be laid to rest in Chartiers Cemetery.
