On Monday, April 22, 2024. Wife of the late William G. Palmer; loving mother of Susan Howcroft, Colleen (Chris) Fisher, and the late Nita Kurtz; grandmother of Christopher Fisher, Jr., Ashley Marie Verghies, Brooke Fisher, Chris, Joshua, and Brandon Howcroft, James Comley, David and Heather Barton; Great-grandmother of five; sister of Richard "Buzzy" Boscia and the late Nancy Nowacki; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 3-7PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Child Church on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00AM. Following Mass, Marlene will be laid to rest next to her husband, William, in St. Agatha Cemetery.
