On Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Husband of the late Charlotte Ratajack; father of Very Rev. Edward (Ann Marie) Ratajack, Donna (Paul) Gaglia, and Charles (Maureen) Ratajack; grandfather of Melanie (Ryan) Mlinac, Andrea (Matt) Openbrier, Stacey (Charles) Ross, and Stephen Ratajack; great-grandfather of Palmer and Charlee Ross, Sara and the late Samuel Openbrier, Noelle and Luka Mlinac; brother of Barbara Morelli and Mary Ann Nowicki, and the late Michael, Joseph, Fran, John, David, and Chester Ratajack; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Ed proudly served as a U.S. Marine during the time of the Korean War.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2-6PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in All Saints P.N.C. Church on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11:00AM. Following Mass, Ed will be laid to rest next to his wife, Charlotte, in All Saints P.N.C. Cemetery.
