On Sunday, July 21, 2024. Husband of the late Nanette (Messiner) Wendt; loving father of Anna Marie Wendt, Beth (Craig) Vanzin, Joann (Mike) Silhol, and Linda (Sean) Pearson; grandfather of Lindsey, Erica, Joseph, Anthony, Morgan, Lauren, and Emma; brother of the late Joann Sams, Lorraine Kazior, Regina MacNeil, and Matthew Wendt; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 10:30am. Following the Blessing Service, Joe will be laid to rest next to his wife, Nanette, in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
