On Sunday, February 16, 2025. Daughter of the late Albert and Eva Kvarchak; wife of the late Raymond Barus; mother of the late Raymond and Richard Barus; sister of Alberta Johnson; aunt of Rosemarie "Cookie" (late John) Czerniejewski, John Barus, Donald (Tina) Barus, Susan (Chester) Barus-Morgan, Pam (David) Perhosky, and Ronald Barus; also survived by additional generations of nieces and nephews.

Rose Marie enjoyed her family gatherings and her friends at Georgetown Estates. She loved to golf, swim, and play cards. Rose Marie enjoyed going out to dinner. She especially looked forward to dessert. She was a Christian woman, with a devotion to the Blessed Mother, saying her rosary daily.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 10:00am. Following Mass, Rose Marie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Raymond, in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
