Wife of the late William Ware Ferguson, III; Loving mother of Miriam (late Barry) Kaiser, Raymond (Kim) Ferguson, Cathy (John) Kasprowicz, Robert Ferguson, and the late Mark (Lea survives) Ferguson and Marty (Julia survives) Ferguson; Fun Grandma of Elizabeth Tuttle, Eleanor Tuttle, Heather Marie (Dan) Butler, William (Melissa) Ferguson, Anthony (Angie) Ferguson, Jessica Ferguson, Theresa Ferguson, Sarah (Tyler) Schuling, Mark Louis, Jr. (Nicole) Ferguson, Zachary (Katie) Ferguson, Rachel (Nick) Legacy, Jacob Ferguson, Fr. John Ferguson, Noah Ferguson, Alyson Nolte, Joshua Nolte, and Sean Ferguson; Great Grandma of Marlo, Freeman, Julianna, Samantha, Liam, Violet, Felix, Augustine, Josephine, Isaac, Louis, Catarina, Francesca, Sophia, Gianna DeVita, Isla, Louis, Mark Louis, III., Ford, and Vivian; sister of Monica (late David) Martoff and the late Ariel (late Fern) Robinson and Muriel (late Pat) Franc; dear friend of Robert "Buzzy" Douglas; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Heather was a prayer warrior with a devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was full of love for the Lord and shared that love with everyone she met. Heather had a great sense of humor. Her home and heart were always open to anyone who needed help.

Heather was a housekeeper for Bishop McDowell for over 10 years. Making sure many priests were fed well.

Her family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice, especially Doris Avigliano, for the care and compassion given to Heather.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Heather's grandson, Fr. John Ferguson, in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:30am. Following Mass, Heather will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
