Karen P. Kline

November 7, 1953

August 4, 2025

On Monday, August 4, 2025. Daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille Kline; Dear companion of the late Ron Anthony; beloved mother of Brian Scarpone and Tricia (Jason) Winter; proud grandmother of Sabrina and Justin Scarpone and Jaelyn and Gavin Winter; sister of Richard (Linda Ann) Kline; mother in law of Lynn Amrhein.

Karen was an avid Steelers fan. She never missed watching a game. Karen was also a collector of Teddy Bears. If you didn't know what to get her for a gift, a teddy bear was always a safe bet. She dearly loved her cat, Jazz, who passed away 5 years ago. Karen fought Multiple Sclerosis for over 46 years. She was a constant presence at church with Ron until the disease made it too hard for her to attend. They would listen to Mass when they couldn't be there. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Gateway Hospice for the care and compassion extended to Karen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00am. Following Mass, Karen will be laid to rest next to companion, Ron, in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
