On Friday, July 4, 2025. Husband of the late Letha M. Lynch; father of William G. Lynch, Jr., Brenda Brooks, Karen (James) Stacy, Tammy (late Jay) Belsterling, and the late Anna (late Richard) Was; Grandfather of Richard (Darla) Was, Michael Lynch, Kelly (Alex) Scholz, Amber Mitchell, April Vercammen, Jennifer (Joseph) Patterson, Jay (Missy) Belsterling, Jessica Stacy, Marilyn Lynch, William Was, Joshua Was, and the late Tyler Lynch; Great Grandfather of Baily, Brook, Blake, Nicholas, Brady, Riley, Amelia, Blaze, Devin, Ciara, Kassie, Axel, Vincent, John, and Madison; William was the last surviving sibling of eleven; also survived by generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

William was a self employed painter. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His favorite hobby was antiquing with his wife, Letha. They owned Lynch's Antiques in Carnegie for many years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00am. Following Mass, William will be laid to rest next to his wife, Letha, in Chartiers Cemetery.
