On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, age 87. Wife of the late William "Chuck" McIntyre; loving mother of Colleen McIntyre (Mike Tokarczyk), Lynn McIntyre (Deb Mariano); stepmother of Sharon (the late John) Lach, Kimberly (Tom) Talotta, and the late Greg McIntyre; grandmother of Rick (Jamie) Talotta, Jennifer (Chad) McKaskle, Eric Talotta, Leann Jenkins, Nicole McIntyre, Bill (Sami) McIntyre and Jon Tokarczyk; great-grandmother of Bradley, Bethany, Violet, Scarlet, Axel, and Charlotte; sister of Barbara Leary and the late Ronald Shaffer.

Over the years, Marlene touched many lives through her love of travel, involvement with senior groups and with those that shared her love of crafting and sewing. Her extended family gathering on New Year's featuring onion soup and Old Bay Seasoned shrimp, family Christmases, as well as the family 4th of July picnics - were celebrations that she looked forward to and brought us all many cherished memories. She enjoyed playing the organ and sharing her celebrated accordion talents with everyone. And what a boat load of memories from vacations at Treasure Lake!

Thankful for her love and the lifelong memories she helped to create. She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 3-7pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 9:30am. Following Mass, Marlene will be laid to rest with her husband, Chuck, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
