On Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Sholek; wife of the late Roscoe Rider; sister of Mildred (late Lawrence) Tohey, and the late Pearl "Connie" (late Benjamin) Gerber and Matthew (late Catherine) Sholek; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Mary was a long time employee of the Hilton Hotel.

A very special thank you to the staff at Celebration Villa of Lakemont Farms and Gallagher Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion extended to Mary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 1-3pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:30am. Following the Blessing Service, Mary will be laid to rest in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
