On Sunday, October 5, 2025. Wife of the late Joseph Varlinsky; loving mother of Debby (late Bob) Gigliotti and Judy (John Horgan) Turney; grandmother of Luanne Gigliotti, Bryan (Lisa) Gigliotti, Eric (Staci) Turney, and the late Donny Turney, III; great grandmother of Taylor, Ella, Jace, and Trey; sister of John (late Bev) Netzel, and the late Evelyn (late Clem) Abbott, Marge (late Jack) Dorman, Kay (late Frank) Lapacik, Sis Netzel, Chuck (late Genny) Netzel, and Joe (late Lois) Netzel; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.
Anna Mae worked in the cafeteria at Chartiers Valley High School for many years. She loved to sing and was one of the last remaining survivors of the St. Ignatius Polka Choir and also sang in the Sunday choir at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME INC., where family and friends will be received on Wednesday morning, October 8, 2025 from 10am-11:30am at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 12:00 noon. Following Mass, Anna Mae will be laid to rest next to her husband, Joe, in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
