On Saturday, April 4, 2026. Beloved wife of James F. Adams; loving mother of Bonnie (Sypolt) Kochin; Grandmother of Justin (Alyssa) Sypolt, Zackary (Kaitie) Kochin, and Michael (Abby Adams) Kochin; Great Grandmother of Warren and Arthur; Sister of John (Elise) Babiak and Robert (life partner Kate Tindle) Babiak; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Carol was a true flamingo - graceful and vibrant. She was a fierce competitor on the ballroom dance floor, an avid traveler (by boat, train, or bike!), and eternal thrill-seeker. There were few places she would rather be than Kennywood with her family, riding coasters and watching them battle it out at the games. While Carol's priority was her family, she deeply cared about her commmunity as well. She volunteered at the women's shelter and was a bookkeeper for the Allegheny County Democratic Committee. Carol took great pride in her work as legal secretary for K&L Gates, where she retired.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 2:00pm - 7:00pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:30am. Burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
