Anna Mae "Dolly" Hareza

February 5, 1932

November 1, 2026

On Sunday, November 1, 2026. Wife of the late Frank Hareza; loving mother of Linda Hareza, Dennis (Dorothy) Hareza, Scott (Chrisy) Hareza, and the late Randy (Lorrie survives) Hareza; Grandmother of Elizabeth, Kevin (Mina), Ben, Jason (Alexandra), and Jacob; Great Grandmother of Lucien and Yara; sister of James Mahoney and the late Frank Mahoney; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Dolly, mom, grandma, Gma was known for her love of her family, wisdom, patience and non-judgmental personality. She was often referred to as "Switzerland" as she rarely took sides and always acted as the mediator. Dolly was fortunate to have a group of very close lifelong friends who loved and cared for each other, and used card playing as an excuse to have too much fun. She took up golf in her 60's and, although she showed some talent, she was more proud to be referred to as the fun golfer as opposed to the good golfer.

Among many other things, she'll be remembered for her great sense of humor, loud holidays at her home with her family, poppyseed bread and the absolute best pierogies in the world.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, Ss. Simon and Jude Church, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00AM.
