Unexpectedly, on Monday, October 19, 2026. Beloved husband for 24 years of Kimberly Jones; son of the late Charles Cole and Rose Mae Dean; father of Jahmar Jones; brother of James Dean and the late Pam Carroll, Carla Stephens, Larry Jones, and Melvin Jones; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Charles was a retired 235 Security Officer. Charles grew up as a member of Second Baptist Church of Carnegie with his family and was a current member of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh. He had a passion for life that also included music, cars, and cooking. He found great joy in cooking for his loved ones. He loved spending life with his wife going on adventures with their cars. He was constant comedian with a fantastic sense of humor and could always bring a smile to your face and have you doubled over in laughter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11:00AM. Following the Blessing Service, Charles will be laid to rest in Chartiers Cemetery.
