On Thursday, September 24, 2026. Wife of the late Bernard P. "Bernie" Krasneski; beloved mother of Michael (Gretchen) Krasneski; proud Mimi of Loralei, Meah, and Thomas; sister of Margie (Donald) Tomasic, Donald Phillipps, and the late Albert E. Phillipps, Jr.; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Born in Pittsburgh, in 1944, she spent her childhood on the Northside and graduated from Perry High School. Carolee spent much of her early years working as a Communication Specialist at Parker Hunter Investment Firm. Afterwards, she spent 15 years teaching preschool at the local church. She married her late husband, Bernie, in September of 1969. Carolee was blessed with one son, Michael, and three grandchildren, who loving referred to her as, Mimi. She was an avid reader, talented seamstress, who enjoyed cheering for the Steelers, fast cars, making homemade pierogies, and taking care of her canine companion, Molly. She also spent many hours volunteering at All Saints Polish National Catholic Church. Carolee touched many lives with her grace and love, that will be sorely missed for many years to come.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 3:00PM - 7:00PM at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in All Saints P.N.C. Church, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00AM. Following Mass, Carolee will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bernie, in All Saints P.N.C. Cemetery.
