Of Scott Township, on May 11, 2026 was called home into the loving arms of our Lord.

Born May 20, 1935 to William and Beatrice Messner in Carnegie, PA.

William is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty L. Messner, Daughters Doris Wolbert, Linda Basham, Teresa Ryan, and son John Thorpe, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren.

William was an employee at KMart for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and pap.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC.

At the request of William there will be no visitation.
