On Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Wife of the late Bruno Murdaca; loving mother of Janet (late Ed, "Butch") Cherosky, Mark (Martha) Murdaca, Marcia (Joe) Osterman, Donna (Herman) Herleman, Gina (John) Drobycki, and the late Janice Murdaca; Grandmother of Jason (Michael Alagich) Cherosky, Jeremy (Leanne) Cherosky, Karen Brown, Kevin Murdaca, Janice (Paul) Yurchak, Jodi (Anthony) Jack, Ryan (Lexi) Herleman, Jim (Jenn) Rennie, and Christopher Rennie; Great Grandmother of Briella, Melaina, Holden, Lilly, Brooke, Shane, Daisy, Lucy, Kayla (Donovan), Michael, Olivia, and Maya; Great Great Grandmother of Samson and Julian.

Mom/Grandma/GG as she was referred to, was the heart of our family - a source of wisdom, kindness, strength, and unconditional love. She touched so many lives with her warm smile, gentle spirit, and caring nature. The memories she created and the lessons she taught will remain with us forever.

She found great joy in playing Scrabble, sharing a good game of cards with family and friends, and trying her luck at Bingo.

While our hearts are saddened by her passing, we find comfort knowing she is at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before her. Her love will continue to guide us, and her legacy will live on through the family and friends who were blessed to know her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., where family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 3-6pm at 101 Third St., Carnegie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Child Church on Friday, June 26, 2025, at 9:45am. Following Mass, Eva will be laid to rest with her husband, Bruno, in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
